Terms of Service
This is what we agree on when you use Piecerun. It is written to be understood in one read, and it describes what Piecerun actually does today — not what we wish it did.
In force since September 12, 2026
1. Who is selling you this
Piecerun is provided by Moreno Preto, based in Argentina. For anything related to these terms, write to contact@kokoro-nikki.com — it gets answered.
Using Piecerun — signing in, creating an account, pressing a button — means you accept this. If something below does not work for you, do not use it and write to us: we would rather discuss it now than later.
2. What Piecerun is, plainly
Piecerun is a workshop for designing social content. It holds your brand kit — colors, type, voice — builds every piece against that kit, measures it with a linter, renders it and drops it on a calendar. Your agent drives it over MCP, or you drive it from the browser.
Piecerun does not post to your social accounts on its own. It exports the files and captions ready to upload, and uploading is your move. If that ever changes, it will be something you turn on, not something you find switched on.
The integrations that do publish — Instagram, Telegram, an image bucket — only work if you load your own credentials, and they work for as long as those credentials are valid. What happens on the other side is decided by those platforms, not by Piecerun.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google or GitHub. Piecerun does not store passwords and never will: the one confirming you are you is your identity provider.
An account can have several people with access, and all of them see and edit the same brands. Inviting someone gives them access to everything inside: think of it as handing over the key to the workshop, not a chair.
You are responsible for what happens with your account and for who you let in. If you think someone got in uninvited, write to us and we will cut the sessions.
You must be of legal age to use Piecerun. This is not a product for children.
4. Plans, the trial and billing
Plans differ in how many brands fit in one account, how many pieces per brand, and whether the clock is allowed to work on its own. The workshop is the same in all of them: same templates, same render, same linter, same tools.
The trial runs for 14 days and starts with a card on file. Nothing is charged during those days. Cancel before they are over and nothing is ever charged.
After that, the subscription renews on its own each period until you cancel. Stripe processes the payment; Piecerun never sees or stores your card number.
You cancel from your own account, in the billing portal — no permission to ask for, no email to write. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep the plan until that date.
If we change the price, we tell you by email 30 days ahead and the new price applies at the next renewal. If it does not suit you, cancel before that date and you are not charged.
5. What happens when a payment fails
If a charge fails, Stripe retries for a few days. While it retries, your account keeps working exactly as before: a bank declining a card on a Tuesday is not a reason to take your work away.
When a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden and no punishment screen appears: what you made is still there, still visible, still exportable. What changes are the caps — how many new brands fit, how many pieces per brand, and that scheduled work stops running on its own.
Pay again and you are back exactly where you were. Nothing to rebuild.
6. Refunds and withdrawal
The 14-day trial exists so you do not have to regret anything: try the whole thing before a single cent is charged.
If you buy from Argentina, consumer law gives you 10 calendar days to withdraw from a distance purchase, with no explanation and no cost. Write to contact@kokoro-nikki.com and we refund what was charged.
Beyond that, a period already started is not refunded pro rata. If something broke on our side, talk to us: that gets resolved by looking at what happened, not by quoting this line.
7. Your model credential, and who pays for each run
The subscription pays for the platform. What the agent does — every model turn, every tool it runs — is paid by your own credential from Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or whoever you choose.
That credential is stored encrypted, with a key that does not live where the ciphertext lives, and it is a write-only field: once saved it never comes back to the browser, not even masked. You can replace or delete it from the app, whenever you want, without writing to anyone.
Whatever your credential spends is yours and is billed by your provider, not by Piecerun. Piecerun ships a configurable spend ceiling per run that stops and tells you why it stopped. That is a protection, not a guarantee: the one setting the price of a token is your provider, and it can change without telling us.
For the agent to work, what is in your workshop — the brand kit, the copy, the pieces — travels to the model provider you chose, and what that provider does with it is governed by their terms. Choose knowing that.
8. Who owns what is inside
Your brand, your copy, your images, your pieces and your own templates are yours. We claim no rights over them and we do not use them for anything other than running the service for you.
You give us the minimum permission needed to operate: store your files, process them, render them and show them to you. Nothing else. We do not publish them, we do not show them to other accounts, and we do not train models on them.
Piecerun code, the site, the house templates and their design belong to Moreno Preto. You may use the templates to make your pieces and those pieces are yours; what you may not do is take the templates to build another product.
Everything in your account is readable text files, and you can export them. Portability is not a promise we make: it is the shape the product has.
9. What the model produces
Piecerun uses language models. A model gets things wrong, makes facts up, and sometimes writes something close to something that already exists. Nothing that comes out of the agent is guaranteed accurate, original or fit to publish.
The last look is yours. Before publishing something that came out of here, read it. If you publish it, you answer for what it says.
10. What you cannot do with Piecerun
- Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else rights, including brands and images that are not yours.
- Passing yourself off as another person or another brand.
- Spam, deception, or campaigns built to defraud someone.
- Trying to reach another account data, or attacking the infrastructure.
- Reselling Piecerun as if it were yours, or using its templates to build a competing product.
- Automating the service in a way that takes it down for everyone else.
If any of that happens, we can suspend the account. Unless it is serious and obvious, we warn first and give time to fix it.
11. If it ends
You can leave whenever you want: cancel the subscription and, if you want, ask us to delete the whole account.
We can close an account for breaking these terms, with notice by email. We can also stop providing the service: in that case we give at least 30 days notice, refund the unused part of the period, and keep your data available to export during those 30 days.
12. Warranties and liability
Piecerun is provided as is. We do our best to keep it up, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, nor freedom from bugs, nor fitness for a particular purpose you have in mind.
We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, what your model credential spends, or what the platforms you publish on do. Our total aggregate liability does not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
If you are a consumer, the law gives you rights no contract can take away. Nothing in this section limits them: where the law says otherwise, the law wins.
13. If this changes
When we change these terms we update the date above. If the change is material — the price, what your plan includes, how we handle your data — we tell you by email 30 days ahead. Continuing to use Piecerun after that date means accepting the new version; if it does not suit you, cancel and the next period is not charged.
14. Governing law and venue
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking goes to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away your right to claim before the courts or the consumer protection body of your own place of residence.
If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
15. How to reach us
Write to contact@kokoro-nikki.com. It is an address a person reads, not a form.
